Admissions to MBA at BITS Pilani for the academic term starting august 2009 has been released now . Its certainly a very wise decision to invest 2 years in a techno MBA degree at BITS pilani in times like this. Since the programme limits its input normally to only BE BTech and a separate test is conducted for it, the eligible applicants might have a great chance of getting an admit.
Specializations offered:
1. Engineering & Technology Management
2. IT enabled Services Management
Academic Flexibilty: Students can take electives of Marketing and finance, the specialisations are hence quite flexible as well.
Full program duration: 2 years; 4 semesters of 6 months each; this year classes start 1st august 2009
Unique features: Focus on techno management advantage and half an year of industry exposure/internships in last semester
Eligibility: Any integrated first degree of BITS or only B.E./B.Tech degree in Engineering disciplines from any other recognized University with a minimum of 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination (CGPA can be converted to equivalent % 7.5/10= 75%). Both freshers(results by 25th july 2009) and experienced candidates can apply.

is it only for ppl who are giving ME that they will be asking from their core subjects or even for ppl who r giving MBA
they gave 3 test sections right
test one -- the general test
test two -- stream concerned test
test three-- management aptitude test

Hi Venkat, The Test 2 (Your Stream - Civil Electrical, CompSci etc based) is compulsorily to be taken up by candidates applying to MBA program also.
This is to test your command and knowledge in your BE/B Tech Degree.
Sorry, I don't have Sample Papers, but the syllabus and the exam content is standard and as you must have seen in the brochure, you can choose out of your stream courses, for which you would like to appear; the test would hence try to test your understanding of those course in its standard format as covered in any standard technical university.

@ Madhu's query: Its a sincere advice that you assess ME or MBA careers on an entirely different landscape than just placements, they are completely different to me as far as career objectives are concerned. BITS MBA passouts are better poised than ME ones by my knowledge.

The Third Specialization test is also supposed to be given by you apart from management aptitude test and the General test. Though the Brochure may seem a bit cumbersome at first, I advice you to got through it in detail. It presents the details quite exhaustively.
In brief, I can tell you that the specialization test also is quite narrow as you need to choose few specific subjects only from your specialisation. hence you would not be required to say revise all of the content from your specialisation, but only the ones you choose.
